Why fly private to Cannes
Cannes-Mandelieu is one of the closest airports to a Riviera town center. From the FBO to the Palais des Festivals is a short drive, which matters when the schedule is built around screenings, dinners or meetings.
Nice gives you a second option for the large-cabin jets that fly non-stop from the East Coast, with a helicopter or car transfer to Cannes and parking that can be easier to find.
The calendar is full: the Film Festival in May, Cannes Lions in June, and the Cannes Yachting Festival in September all bring a surge of private flights. Booking early protects your preferred airport and timing.

Flying home or onward
Departures leave from CEQ or NCE depending on aircraft size. For the trip home to Miami or New York, a large-cabin jet from Nice usually flies non-stop, while smaller jets from Cannes-Mandelieu add a fuel stop. Paris, London, Geneva and Rome are short onward flights if you want to extend the trip.
